DescriptionWe are changing the face of marketing procurement. The Coca-Cola marketing organization is the best in the world and we are looking for a dynamic, connected leader to evolve the next chapter in how we approach our Production, Development & Adaptation agency relationships.

The role will lead a team to support our strategic sourcing initiatives for global and OU activities across our production & adaptation DME. The role is the lead for the day-to-day Production and adaptation agency relationships for the company, they lead the ME&E workstreams for the production work and are a key lead for the network to network relationship and are the go to contact for all PDA agency relationships. This leader works very closely with the marketing operations and capability team, the marketing organizations at global category & OU.

The bullseye of the role is to ensure we are partnering closely with the business to source best ‘fit for purpose’ partners to support the business strategy, bring the outside in and keep The Coca-Cola Company agency roster fresh and manage a team of talents to ensure excellent negotiations, contract management and ability to drive incremental value and extended ROI from all deals.

The role reports to the Sr. Director Global Marketing & Procurement Creation & Development and the candidate will be expected to be a strong leader across procurement and make a big impact with stakeholders.

Organizational Impact
The candidate will be responsible for leading a team of 6 Full-Time Employees with Production, development and creative industry subject matter expertise and procurement capabilities.
Remit is Global and is responsible for strategies, business plans, relationships, and results
As a people manager they will provide leadership across the function and support development both of direct reports and other potential talents and coach team in subject matter expertise growth
They will work very closely with the creative procurement teams and agency partners and be the source of truth on status and performance
They will represent the function of marketing procurement internally and externally to support a progressive, modern and dynamic approach to business.

Skills & Experience
The candidate will have previous procurement experience in managing a global marketing category, preferably working closely with production companies, production houses and creative agencies or working in a global production company managing operations and commercial business across significant clients.
Deep insight into how the production, adaptation and development industry works and strong knowledge of the field and future trends
Strong knowledge on technology to deliver work at scale and to do the work better, faster, cheaper.
Experience of working closely with marketing teams and partnering to deliver outstanding value driven results
Strong commercial, relationship building, negotiation and procurement knowledge:
Able to develop clear working processes, scopes of work and ensure perfect delivery to deliver value for the business.
Able to use financial models, industry knowledge, and the client's business requirements to develop and implement optimized business solutions.
Able to work as part of a virtual global team to collaborate across geographic and organizational boundaries to deliver better business results and share best practices
Knowledge of strategic sourcing strategies to ensure that formal supplier agreements activate the elements of the sourcing strategy and support performance standards.
Able to use data and apply robust analytics to model various business scenarios and analyze resulting cost, impact, risks, and benefits to inform and recommend business solutions.
Knowledge of the category, procurement, industry and business best practices to guide thought leadership and ensure effective procurement strategies. Includes the ability to recognize value creation opportunities
Knowledge of sources for competitive analysis including supplier and industry data to build competitive intelligence, inform business planning and optimize decision-making. Includes the ability to create and analyze industry cost models order to assess suppliers' competitive capabilities.
Able to read, edit and interpret contractual documentation. Knowledge of contract terms, applications and legal requirements, including the ability to manage performance to contracts and agreements.
Education & Experience Required
Minimum: 10+ years of work experience in a commercial marketing or procurement or relevant related field
Bachelor’s Degree
Knowledge of technical aspects of marketing is highly preferred. Typically requires a University Degree (Master or MBA ideally) or equivalent experience
Recognized thought leader mastering professional discipline.
Global work experience, leading teams, strong influencing skills and working across multi projects
