You will join the recently integrated EMEA Marketing Indirect Procurement team, representing close to 400 M€ annual spend and diverse categories from marketing services (media, communication agencies, CRM, media production, …) to trade marketing activities (events, POS materials, printing, in store visual set up).
You will be responsible for managing marketing category spend across EMEA region working closely with the stakeholders in marketing and marketing support functions in the key countries (focus on France and DACH) as well as with Regional and Global procurement organization.
The role requires procurement leadership, strong autonomy and accountability in setting and implementing an effective EMEA sourcing strategy in line with business priorities, in managing sourcing processes, including RFPs/RFIs, related financials, KPIs and planning, in supporting autonomously stakeholders initiatives as a procurement business partner
C. Areas Of Responsibilities And Related Activities
- Build and roll-out an effective procurement strategy for Marketing spend in alignment with the global category strategy and stakeholders needs for the in-scope countries
- Identify synergies opportunities within the Group and optimize costs through effective sourcing, process optimizations and demand management to bring savings results in line with the productivity target
- Issue RFx and analyse best solutions, negotiate price and commercial terms and conditions. Implement sourcing projects and be accountable for results. Contract negotiation and implementation
- Influence and drive business decisions contributing with procurement capabilities and analytics to foster efficiencies and innovation
- Lead regional and country category projects in terms of technical and procurement responsibilities, being responsible for setting the project plan, governance model set-up, sourcing approach, stakeholders engagement, documents preparation, vendors management and negotiation, etc…
- Properly manage the Procure to Pay operations tasks (PO approval, Vendor approval, Invoice approval) in compliance with the procurement processes and expected lead time
- Facilitate knowledge and best practices sharing within the team
E. Technical Skills - Portrait Of a Perfect Candidate
- Educational Background in Business or Engineering preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in Procurement with Category Management at Regional or global level in multinational environment
- Capacity to lead sourcing optimization projects in a multicountry environment with a certain degree of complexity into the management of internal stakeholders (Integration underway of Grand Vision 4B€ retail business inside the new Essilorluxottica, combining wholesale and retail activities)
- Capability and interest to work on various purchasing categories
- Prior experience in Marketing category and other would be a plus.
- Background in the whole marketing category will be an added value
- Packoffice prerequesite, SAP optionnal
