JOB SCOPE

You will be responsible for supporting the global launch of major innovations and activations for our lenses brand: “Stellest”, by building the necessary elements to maximize the value proposition of Stellest products & brand and myopia control categories, in order to accelerate growth and their commercial impact in the markets.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

BRAND STRATEGY & PRODUCT INNOVATION:

  • Help define Stellest innovation, marketing strategies and manage new product innovation journey, from product definition to value creation assumptions, in coordination with the support functions (R&D, CMI, BMI, Operations, Quality, Finance, Legal, etc.), to accelerate Stellest brand and product growth (product portfolio, price positioning, distribution strategy, etc.).
  • Lead regular exchanges with regional or local marketing and sales teams to ensure the exchange of best practice.
  • Identify consumer needs and new trends; assess market opportunities and needs.
  • Competitive intelligence: monitoring, understanding and analysing competing offers (price, positioning, claims, etc.).
  • Work as a main contributor of the project team, develop and validate Stellest innovations and the creation of internal project documents.
  • Define Stellest product marketing mix in line with the strategies defined.
  • Analyse results and propose appropriate development actions and/or corrective actions based on risk analysis.
  • Support and monitor Stellest market launches worldwide, while ensuring rapid execution and consistency with the defined strategy.
  • Ensure internal communication/training on product innovations.
  • Monitor sales and producing analysis reports to identify business opportunities.

PRODUCT LAUNCH PACKAGE:

  • Develop 360° multi-target Stellest product launch package (consumers, Eye Care Professionals and prescribers) to support and accelerate myopia control category, product awareness and drive to sales.
  • Create sales materials in collaboration with the teams of global marketing experts (creative hub, media, etc.).
  • Define and create content and marketing materials (brochures, sales aids, demonstration tools, point-of-sale displays, etc.) specific to each target/customer segment (partner opticians, optometrists, ophthalmologists, complementary health insurance providers, consumers, etc.).
  • Develop and monitor trade marketing campaigns (promotions, customer events, etc.) in coordination with the marketing and sales teams.
  • Monitor the implementation of product launch packs and in-store sales aids.
  • Develop product launch training with training teams.

NETWORK OF INTERACTION

The job requires working closely with almost all the internal players - Global / Regional or local market depending on the scope - (sales team, marketing, legal, finance, R&D, operations, supply chain, quality, market research, training, medical affairs, retail, etc.) and numerous external partners (agencies, graphic designers, research institutes, etc.).

The job may also involve liaising with representatives of different target groups (partner opticians, retail chains/networks, key accounts, optometrists, ophthalmologists, complementary health insurance providers, consumers, etc.).

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Degree in optics and/or experience as an optician/optometrist is a must.
  • Master’s degree as an International Marketing specialist.
  • At least 4 years' experience in leading innovation, developing new product concepts and positioning, in an international and multicultural environment.
  • The job requires an excellent understanding of the complete marketing mix and the ability to build a consumer approach as well as operational BtoB marketing actions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, in particular the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of upstream and downstream partners in an international environment.
  • Comfortable communicating in front of an audience, working as part of a team and leading a 360° project.
  • Curiosity to acquire and deepen knowledge in the field of optics.
  • Ability to think "consumer" and to lead more operational B2B2C marketing actions.
  • Be able to structure a strategic recommendation and share a vision on the subjects.
  • Fluent in English.
