Position Summary
CVS Health is seeking a visionary and results-driven Director to lead and own the direction, development, and execution of digital experience monitoring platforms and products. This pivotal leadership role will play a critical part in the overall digital experience of our colleagues.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years managing IT systems and platforms
- 5+ years leading high performing engineering/operations teams
- Experience creating scripts with PowerShell, Bash or other scripting languages
Preferred Qualifications
- Digital workplace tool management expertise: management tools, techniques, monitoring and integration
- Experience implementing modern management of endpoint devices
- Experience using automation to drive continuous improvement
- Proven experience in Endpoint Technologies with a strong understanding of endpoint monitoring architecture, deployment, and administration
- Proficiency creating Tableau dashboards
- Proficiency with digital experience products (Riverbed Aternity, NextThink, App Dynamics, Zscaler ZDX)
- Relevant certifications (Tableau, PowerShell, Aternity Certified Professional, etc.)
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership: Execute a comprehensive product- and engineering-centric program aligned with overarching strategies and business needs
- Budget and Resource Management: Manage budgets and resources effectively, optimizing investments in security technologies, personnel, and partnerships
- Collaboration and Partnership: Foster collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including cross-functional teams, vendors, and industry organizations
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that digital experience products adhere to established policies and best practices to manage risk and regulatory compliance
- Talent Development: Build and lead a high-performing digital experience team, attracting top talent and providing coaching and mentorship for skill development
- Implement, monitor and operate digital experience monitoring technologies (endpoint hardware, software, services and SaaS tools)
- Collaborate with technology vendors, product managers, IT Security, legal or compliance teams to ensure alignment to company policy
- Executes scripts, employee engagement functionality, self-healing automation and other technology actions
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the deployment lifecycle
- Perform integrations to business intelligence, adjacent technologies and data analytic platforms
- Perform root cause detection, anomaly detection, and provide troubleshooting in the resolution of technical issues related to Endpoint and Real User technology
- Monitor technology trends and serve as subject matter expert by staying up to date on the latest product features, functionality, and applied best practices
- Act as mentor for the Digital Experience team, forming tight partnerships for the mutual success of the teams
- Ensure information is flowing freely between the teams to minimize siloed operations and engineering
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer activities for internal teams
Education
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
Pay Range
The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is
$144,200.00 - $288,400.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
