Purpose Of The Role
- Develop, drive and execute marketing strategies that are tailored to local business and market needs in order to grow our business and gain MS
- Actively contribute to securing Abbott as the preferred partner in Neuromodulation (NMD) (DBS/SCS/DRG/RF) in Netherlands and Belgium
- Analyze and monitor market trends, risks, and opportunities in order to translate them into impactful and differentiating strategies and tactics.
- Work in close collaboration with Regional marketing to identify and tailor marketing strategies to the Netherlands and Belgium markets and support Abbott in becoming #1 (MS%).
- Participate in National and regional sales meetings with the Country Manager (CM) and Territory Managers (TMs) to introduce the International Division (ID) Marketing strategies, and secure buy-in, and alignment in account plans.
- Provide feedback and advice on account plans to improve effectiveness and drive progress toward strategic goals.
- Work in close collaboration with the CM to track and execute the marketing strategies in the country.
- Work in close collaboration with Regional Marketing and ID trainers to set up training courses for new employees and refresher courses for existing employees
- Work with Regional Marketing, ID trainers, and Manager Professional Education EMEA to select appropriate new and existing customers for training courses.
- Look for new opportunities to develop and promote NMD across marketing channels in the Netherlands and Belgium to increase brand and therapy awareness and adoption.
- Manage and develop upcoming KOLs in NMD Netherlands and Belgium at the same time maintaining close collaboration with existing KOLs
- Attend local and national NMD conferences in collaboration with local sales teams

What You’ll Do
- Be updated on all trends, incl. competitors’ activities per country in Netherlands and Belgium, and give updates in-country sales meetings.
- Take the lead in the nomination process for Professional Education programs in Netherlands and Belgium – final nominees to be confirmed with GM
- Be updated on (potential) changes in reimbursement structure in Netherlands and Belgium from year to year and define impact on Abbott NMD business – requires collaboration with EMEA Health-Economy and Reimbursement Manager.
- Support Bids and Tenders in Netherlands and Belgium by proactively participating in pre-tender work, incl. meetings with tender stakeholders.
- Initiate and support collaboration with specific NMD patient organizations to increase awareness where possible and relevant.
- Comply with new MedTech Europe regulations as of 1 Jan 2018, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operation procedures, processes, and task assignments.
- Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all relevant employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
- Maintain marketing collateral tracking to ensure audit compliance

Required Qualifications
- You have a Bachelor / Master’s degree in Marketing or a related field or equivalent by experience.
- Mature and controlled reaction to the pressure of work
- Positive and proactive attitude
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment
- Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to details
- Multitasks , prioritizes, and meets deadlines in a timely manner
- Regular travel throughout the country and Europe with overnight stays as required.

Knowledge And Skills
- You have fluent bilingual language skills (verbal & written) in English and Dutch
- High technical knowledge and interest
- Marketing experience across a region
- Prior sales experience – local and regional
- Organizational and planning skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A high degree of flexibility
- Computer literate

Fluent Flemish Desirable
