As our Revenue Growth Manager (Strategic Business Development), you will play a critical role in shaping the price, assortment, and promotion strategies for our one Division within the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
Your Key Responsibilities
- Be the RGM Expert: Drive price, assortment, and promotion optimization as the internal expert for the DACH RGM (Revenue Growth Management) team.
- Unlock Customer Insights: Develop price elasticity models to gain a deep understanding of customer purchasing behavior.
- Analyze Market Dynamics: Monitor competitor pricing, packaging, and promotional strategies and analyze their impact on our portfolio.
- Drive Profitable Growth: Understand the entire gross-to-net structure of a P&L and collaborate with the controlling team to maximize the value of gross-to-net investments.
- Empower Brand Success: Support brand teams in developing brand-specific pricing strategies to drive value creation.
- Identify New Opportunities: Uncover white space opportunities and develop compelling business cases for new formats and initiatives.
- Optimize Promotional Effectiveness: Utilize advanced analytics and modeling to optimize promotion plans and maximize ROI.
- Lead with Innovation: Support the development and rollout of new advanced analytic solutions to elevate our RGM capabilities.
- Influence Global Stakeholders: Collaborate with international stakeholders to bring identified price and format opportunities to market.
- Craft Compelling Sales Narratives: Be the expert in building persuasive retailer selling stories that drive the implementation of RGM initiatives.
- Champion the RGM Mindset: Conduct internal RGM training programs and foster a data-driven culture across the organization.
Your Profile
- 5+ years of experience in the FMCG industry or in a strategy consulting role, with a focus on RGM/NRM, pricing/promotion consulting, or business development.
- Strong financial acumen: Proven ability to analyze and model P&L statements.
- Sharp entrepreneurial instincts: Ability to translate complex analysis into pragmatic and actionable recommendations.
- Advanced statistical modeling skills: Proficient in using analytics software such as R, Python, Excel, etc.
- Expertise in BI Tools: Proficient in using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc., with a deep understanding of data manipulation and integration methodologies.
- Confident Communicator: Excellent presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate to senior management.
- Proactive Self-Starter: Entrepreneurial mindset with a keen ability to identify opportunities and develop implementation plans.
- Relationship Builder: Adept at building relationships across the organization to gather insights and influence decision-making.
