DescriptionThe Senior Data Ethics manager reports to the Head of Privacy, Ethics and Information Lifecycle management within the Data Community of Practice, and is responsible for leading the development of our Data Ethics strategy and supporting its implementation across the Ring-fenced-Bank.

Leading the development of our data ethics standards, requirements, and guidance.
Supporting the adoption of data ethics capabilities and governance.
Driving activities to facilitate the embedding of data ethics principles and requirements in the data analytics and data science lifecycles.
Scanning external regulatory environment and emerging industry standards in the AI and data ethics space
Supporting the Bank’s data science initiatives to identify data ethics impacts and ensuring data ethics risks are minimised and best practices embedded.
Managing senior stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, to ensure clarity in understanding data ethics requirements and sharing best practices.
What you’ll bring:
Data professional and subject matter expert in data ethics.
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, and experience in presenting to and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
It would also be nice for you to have:
Good knowledge of technology vendors to support the delivery of data ethics requirements and tooling's.
Good understanding of risk management practices, processes, and techniques
Good understanding of data science lifecycles and experience working with data science and analytics teams.
CIPM (Certified Information Privacy Manager) or CIPP/E (Certified Information Privacy Professional Europe) or equivalent professional experience
What else you need to know:
We will be conducting all interviews via telephone or video-conference where possible.
This role is currently office based/Home based, you will be required to travel to a Santander office for team meetings as and when required.
This is a permanent role.
