Team Summary

Job Description

This team is responsible for our Media, Digital and Data transformation across all marketing initiatives in Asia Pacific. They have a robust understanding of the media & data ecosystems across key markets in the Asia Pacific region, combined with deep exposure to traditional, digital and newer media platforms.

This team are analytical and innovative thinkers who work closely with Measurement/Insights, Global leads and Agency partners to deliver high-quality, cross-channel media programs and data strategies.

What the SD, AP Media, Digital & Data does at Visa:
Lead development and deployment of integrated media investment thresholds and sufficiency for all AP markets incl. setting min-max levels, frequency planning, channel allocation, investment phasing, and MROI impact.
In collaboration with measurement and insights team assess and optimize campaign performance of marketing investment based on MROI & ILM scores.
Lead development and deployment of regional media strategy for all key initiatives and track adherence in the tactical media plans.
Establish KPI metrics to be used to evaluate ongoing campaign performance
Regional leader across all channels of media discipline – programmatic, search, social, mobile - towards more effectively targeting and messaging end customers using data.
Lead for all digital planning and buying (strategy, digital, data, planning) via the agency “hubbing” model that pushes our digital thinking upstream and inspires highest level of effectiveness
Lead Visa’s data transformation strategy, dramatically increasing our 1P audience data and dramatically increasing our engagement with audiences through more powerful, cut-through media innovations
Incubate and manage new media partnerships and platforms such as AI, blockchain, voice
Lead and support our “Value Added Services” through Digital Acquisition, Real-time Creative Personalization and Marketing Data Strategy, delivering best-in-class media thinking to our end clients
Develop and share best practice media platforms and programs at scale with in-country media leads –increase leadership and digital media capabilities in AP
Lead a team of direct and dotted line reports, championing best practices and thinking
Manage and guide day-to-day relationships with agency partners with inspiration, thoughtfulness and mutual respect
Provide strategic rigour & media/channel innovation to the planning & implementation of creative ideas
Work in a highly collaborative manner, across internal stakeholders and external partners.
Influence over budget including contract negotiation and fee oversight with agencies
