DescriptionThis person will be responsible for driving consumer centric decision making in the Skincare category, by providing strategic and actionable insights (consumer, market, retail) using primary and secondary research, knowledge and expertise.

She/He will report to the Global Skincare Consumer & Marketing Insights Director based in NYC, acting as a support for any skin care related category matter and working hand in hand with her on the philosophy, Lancaster, and Orveda brands.

- Design and execute global qualitative and quantitative exploratory and evaluative research
- Translate Marketing objectives into appropriate methodologies
- Manage studies from questionnaire/screener design through to reporting
- Maintain project schedules and communicate to marketing / external teams
- Manage logistics
- Create actionable reports with business implications, provide recommendations
- Present the results to relevant stakeholders, facilitate discussions
- Provide category strategic framework at worldwide level: analytics, brands performances, category & products trends, category long term evolution, white space identification
- Leverage relevant analytical tools from various sources including NPD Decision Key, industry portals, to identify key opportunities for the business
- Maximize the added value of existing sources, conduct desk research, identify gaps and provide recommendations on additional information sources
- Develop & deploy key market reports within the organization (country insights reports, US & Europe skin care newsletter…)
- Interface with Product marketing, R&D, Digital team, and other stakeholders, considering consumers and their needs, current and future, in their plans
- Provide support for Business Review updates for the organization
- Explore and synthetize macro & beauty skin care trends
- Manage vendor choice, development, relationships, contract negotiations and evaluations
- Manage budget

- Master’s Degree in Business/Marketing field
- 2/3 years of CMI experience on skin care brands
- Analytical & synthetical mind, ability to extract & summarize key insights with a key purpose
- Strong project management/ability to multi-task
- Excellent PowerPoint skills & Excel are essential in this role
- Beauty panels knowledge: NPD; Beaute Research
- Passion for skincare products, brands and knowledge of markets/retailers
- Ability to build strong relationships with key senior stakeholders and influence at all levels;
- Fluent in English
