DescriptionThe Coca-Cola Company is building a networked global organization across more than 200 countries, combining the power of scale and deep local knowledge to win everywhere. A critical component of this networked organization is the creation of a new Platform Services unit to act as the new backbone of our operating structure by providing a network of globally scaled services.

Marketing & PACS Platform Services is one of the critical service hubs. This role is on the Media Planning and Operations Services group, which will own the implementation and operationalization of the Company’s global media chassis that will enable a progressive central media management discipline, manage existing global ad technology partnerships (DMP, Ad Server, Demand Side Platforms, 3rd Party Verification, etc.) and identifying new solutions specific to Operating Units’ business needs.

This Position

The Media Planning and Operations Services group comprises of three teams. This role is on the Media Performance & Ad Ops team that is responsible for building a future-oriented global media and ad operations discipline for The Coca-Cola Company. This includes designing, maintaining, and continuously improving the process, tools, capabilities, and best practices we use to facilitate media tactics into action while ensuring the integrity of all the data generated by online and offline media activity.

The Ad-Ops Manager will have a critical role in delivering against this mission. S/he will be a hands-to-keyboard internal SME of all tools and capabilities for digital media activation. They will work with agency partners and Operating Units to ensure the consistent activation and application of various ad-ops tools, taxonomy, and tracking standards to enable for consistent data and media performance tracking.

What You Will Do:

Serve as the internal global ad-ops SME. You will play a central role in establishing this capability in The Company, providing strategic vision and points-of-view on the tools, technology, partners and processes required to enabling this competency globally.

Own the relationship and administration of Company’s global ad server and other related tools. This will include governing the application of such tools, troubleshooting issues with vendors, managing account set-up, access, and structure to ensure data integrity.

Develops, executes, and maintains standards and best practices for taxonomy, media, creative, and site conversion tagging are implemented consistently across media tools to effectively manage the performance of media campaigns.

This person will also look after global media planning and budget management solutions for traditional and digital media reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Functional Skills:

Media & Analytics Acumen: Hands-on experience using media operations systems like Campaign Manager, Flashtalking, Integral Ad Science and others to manage the trafficking, tagging, and delivery of digital advertising across direct and programmatic channels. Must be knowledgeable in trafficking of Rich Media, VAST, VPAID, and Dynamic Creative and applying tag management and website analytics tools.

Global/Cultural Knowledge: Knowledge of cultural and industry nuances in different regions or countries that might impact or limit the effectiveness of media strategies

Leader of Self: high level of self-awareness, constantly curious and independently motivated to identify opportunities and solve problems before they surface.

Independent Point of View: Knowledge of the external environment in which the Company's business is conducted. Includes ability to offer a broad perspective that extends beyond a particular functional discipline and draw upon knowledge that comes from frequent interaction with different departments, employees and sources and constituencies outside of the Company.

Network/Resources: Ability to develop diverse network/resources to leverage "best in class" knowledge, approaches and processes.

Communication: Ability to simplify and persuasively communicate highly technical concepts to non-experts and cross-functional business stakeholders.

Vendor Management: The ability to evaluate and ensure that vendor performance meets or exceeds defined performance standards and adheres to overall company policies and procedures.

Process Design & Implementation: Experience in the design and streamlining of ad-operation processes for effectiveness and efficiency, detail orientation to document process flows and diagnose/remedy challenges.

Related Work Experience: 5-7 years of experience working in the digital media space, with 3+ years in an Ad Ops role at an agency or publisher. Needs to have experience working across teams and geographies in a complex, global media environment leading or leveraging teams of internal and external resources. Experience in a global role preferred. Ideally has had a mix of experiences at Agency, Vendor, and Client-side ad-ops roles.

Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree; relevant industry credentials or certifications (e.g., IAB Digital Ad Ops Certification; Campaign Manager Certification)
