Turning tech into an ally
Vidhyasagar Sekar, Marketing Technology Program Manager, HP will share perspectives on integrating technology into organisational workflows and transforming it into a valuable ally. He will illustrate this with examples of tools the team uses, highlighting their benefits and roles. Additionally, Vidhya will discuss the critical role of human involvement in this integration process and how marketing procurement can support it. Followed by roundtables, discussing the key pain points felt by marketing procurement when driving greater integration.
Procurement as a catalyst
Karla Bello, SAPMENA Zone Sourcing Manager, L’Oréal, will discuss fostering collaboration between procurement and marketing teams. She will outline how she translates global framework into regional and local initiatives across 33 markets, integrating best practices and promoting knowledge sharing throughout the region. Followed by workshops, including streams on:
• Integration across marketing procurement categories e.g. media and creative;
• Integration between marketing procurement and IT procurement teams;
• Integration of external resources and internal marketing teams incl. in-house agencies.

Kim Yang (Digital Transformation Lead, Heineken) will provide an overview on how Heineken are improving above and below the line planning by better integrating trade and other cross functional teams
What the media function looks like in an integrated world
Cheryl Lee (SAPMENA Media Director, L’Oréal) will share how they are integrating with other functions to drive media sustainability in APAC. Josephine Tan (VP, APAC Digital Hub, Diageo) and Andres Mongrue (Director, Head of Media, Asia Pacific, HP) and our APAC Media Chair Silas Lewis-Meilus (Global Head of Media Business Units, Haleon) will then discuss the future of the media lead role. Our team have wide-ranging experiences, so are well placed to talk about the challenges of integrating diverse marketing skillsets into one resource. They will share advice and experience on areas to address and how to upskill appropriately.
