WFA President's Awards 2025

About
Launched in 2010, the WFA President’s Awards look to recognise national association-led industry initiatives which are helping advance the marketer’s agenda and are contributing to positive change in the industry and society.
Previous editions were held in Brussels, Marrakech, Toronto, Tokyo, Lisbon, Athens, Istanbul, and will be returning to Brussels for 2025.
Criteria and judging
National industry associations in WFA membership were invited to nominate programmes and activities they have led/are leading that have made a real difference to their members and the marketing industry in 2024.
Submissions needed to meet the following criteria:
- Must be ‘industry’, rather than company-specific;
- Needs to have made a real impact on brand owners and marketers, the industry and/or society in 2024;
- Needs to have shown a degree of innovation;
- Has proven measurable impact;
- Can be replicated in other countries/markets.
National associations can submit multiple initiatives. However, each nomination must be submitted individually, meaning that if an association wishes to nominate more than one initiative, each must be submitted as a separate entry.
There are no entry fees.
Submissions were evaluated by the WFA Executive Committee. Winners from the shortlisted initiatives were selected by WFA President and Mastercard CMCO Raja Rajamannar.
