New Zealand and Belgium appoint new chairs

The Association of New Zealand Advertisers (ANZA) welcomes Grant Hartley (Kimberly-Clark) as the new Chairman of the ANZA Council. Grant Hartley is Head of Marketing at Kimberly-Clark, having had an extensive marketing career with a number of major advertisers including MARS, George Weston Foods and New Zealand Dairy Foods.
Grant Hartley has served on the ANZA Council for a number of years and is passionate about the need for improved media measurement, transparency and better understanding of the drivers of advertising effectiveness in our rapidly changing media environment.
The Belgian Association of Advertisers (UBA) welcomes Philippe Wallez, Head of Private Banking at ING Belgium, as its new President for a three-year mandate as of April 2nd.
Philippe Wallez has been a Vice-President of the UBA since 2009 and actively involved in the association's activities. He was named 'Marketer of the Year' in 2009 and "Advertiser Personality of the Year" in 2011. He began his career in 1989 as Product Manager for Iglo-Ola (Unilever) and worked for Unilever France, Hydro Agir Europe, Norsk Gydro Group before joining ING in 2000 as Head of the Marketing Intelligence department (until 2003) and then as Manager Retail & Private Banking (Namur, Luxembourg and Brabant Wallon, between 2003-2006), General Marketing Manager (between 2006-2012) and Head of Private Banking (since 2012).
