The CEO of Britvic plc, Simon Litherland, is the new President of the Incorporated Society of British Advertisers (ISBA) as of February 2015. He succeeds Jon Woods, General Manager of Coca-Cola GB and Ireland, and will chair the ISBA Council, the senior governance body of ISBA.

Simon Litherland was appointed CEO of Britvic Plc in February 2013 and is responsible for the delivery of the company's business strategy. He joined the company in 2011 as Managing Director of Britvic GB. Prior to this, he had a career spanning 20 years with Diageo, latterly as Managing Director, Diageo GB.
The new President addressed the ISBA Annual Conference on 11 March, outlining the focus for the body's activities in the year ahead.

"As a significant advertiser, I appreciate only too well the value that ISBA brings to our business, on the regulatory, media and capability fronts, enabling us to extract maximum value from our marcoms spend. This election year doubtless holds a few surprises and I look forward to working with the ISBA team to ensure that the interests of advertisers are safeguarded," Simon Litherland said upon his election.
