A training organised last week by CANA, China's Association of National Advertisers, on the new Chinese ad law and its implications for marketers, brought together around fifty representatives of thirty global and local brands, including companies such as P&G, Unilever, Coca-Cola, Mars, McDonald's, Mondelez, Anheuser-Busch Inbev, Ferrero, LEGO, Mattel, Hasbro, MeadJohnson, Yili, Mengniu, Abbott, Liby, Yashili, Pernod Ricard and Bimbo. The training was hosted by CCTV in Beijing.

Keynote speakers were the head of the 3rd division of the Economic Law Department of the Legislative Affairs Commission of the National People's Congress, Mr. Wang Xiang, the deputy director of the Advertising Supervision and Case Instruction Division, Advertising Supervision Department, State Administration For Industry & Commerce (SAIC), Mr. Shi Xinzhang, as well as the deputy director of the Broadcasting Managing Department, CCTV Advertising Centre. Ms. Li Xiao, director of Training and International Affairs, CANA, moderated the training.
