The new Chairman of the Board of the Finnish Association of National Advertisers is Tommi Rytkönen (pic), CEO of Nooa Savings Bank. He will be seconded by Esa Rautalinko, Vaasa Group, and Ulla Saven, Cederroth. Also joining the board are Pekka Horo (Microsoft), Virpi Paasonen (CWT Finland), Iiro Wester (Champion), as well as Veli-Pekka (SOK).
"Digitisation changed the media, be it purchased, owned and earned, as well as the roles and the way we interact with our customers. Marketing communications purchasing is also evolving. Relations between advertisers, media agencies and media owners have historically been good. I hope this is the case also in the future," said the new President Tommi Rytkönen, who also noted that: "National restrictions on marketing should not further increase" and that the association is actively involved in the development of self-regulation in the sector.
