Australian association elects new chair

Last 12 November, the Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA) announced Matt Tapper, Managing Director of Global Markets for Lion's Beer, Cider and Wine, as its new chair. He succeeds Inese Kingsmill, Director of Consumer Marketing for Telstra, who had the post for four years and will continue her work with AANA as a member of the Board.
Tapper had previously been AANA's deputy chair before being elected into the top role. He has worked as Brand and Account Manager for Mars and Product Manager for Dairy Crest.
"The AANA will continue to be highly active in promoting our core purpose of self-regulation. It's an exciting time for marketers and as leaders we need to keep working on building and elevating the reputation and communicating the contribution of our industry," Tapper said.
