WFA announces speakers for Global Marketer Week

The World Federation of Advertisers (WFA) and Malaysian Advertisers Association (MAA) have unveiled the initial event and speaker line-up for the 2016 Global Marketer Week and Global Marketer Conference, to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from March 15-18 2016.
The event - #GMWKL - will bring together some of the world's top marketers and thought-leaders to address common challenges in delivering growth in an interconnected, people-centric world. It will highlight new ways that marketers can successfully engage people both internally and externally and where brands need to consider both their own employees as well as consumers as advocates, content creators and distributors.
The Global Marketer Week, being held in South East Asia for the very first time, will feature a stellar line-up of speakers to provide inspirational examples of innovation, new platforms and marketing with purpose from some of the world's most exciting brands. Confirmed speakers include:

The showpiece of the week, the Global Marketer Conference, takes place on March 17. This will feature a South East Asia Accelerator panel, where senior regional marketers will share their experiences of driving success in this fast-growing region.
A Project Reconnect session will take place on March 16 and will look at how great brand marketing in the digital age puts people first, how delivering meaningful and valued brand experiences pays dividends and how to foster the best environment both internally and with agency partners to allow great work to flourish. Contributions will come from Contagious, Karmarama, Diversified Agency Services (Omnicom) as well as Samsung's Marc Mathieu, TATA Communications' Amit Sinha Roy and RBS's CMO, David Wheldon.
