The Belgian Advertisers Association (UBA) was one of the big winners of the Media Marketing's 2015 Merit Awards last month in Brussels.

The annual awards ceremony, which recognises Belgian advertisers and agencies who have demonstrated marketing excellence, awarded Chris Van Roey, UBA's CEO, with the Special Merit Award for the association's achievements in the past year.

By the end of 2015, the UBA gained 50 new corporate members, bringing their membership to a record 288, with more than 3,500 marketing professionals attending UBA's events and trainings throughout the year. Their Knowledge Centre, launched in 2014, has also been a great success among UBA members.

With these achievements in mind, UBA recently launched a new five-year strategic plan, focusing on relevant content for members and the launch of new services. The plan will be presented at the National Associations Council in Kuala Lumpur on Friday, 18 March, during Global Marketer Week 2016.
