In February, the Norwegian Association of Advertisers (ANFO) concluded the fourth instalment of their annual marketing effectiveness competition, ANFO Effekt, with an awards ceremony in Oslo.

For the 2015 edition, the association received more than 80 entries and a total of 23 awards in five categories were presented. DNB, Norway's largest financial services group, took home the Grand Prix award for "VIPPS", a mobile payment app whose marketing campaign was developed by agencies Vizeum and POL.

Among the night's winners were Tine for "Norvegia", Orkla Confectionery & Snacks for "Smash", Mills/Stryhn's for "Det er deilig å være litt dansk i Norge" (It's nice to be a little Danish in Norway), and Svea Finance for "Topplinjefinansiering" (Top line Financing).

ANFO Effekt highlights outstanding marketing communications that create value for business and brands and successfully demonstrate the link between 'effort' and 'effect'.
