Slovenian advertisers appoint new Executive Director

The Slovenian Advertising Chamber (SOZ) has named Mojca Briscik as the association's new Executive Director. She succeeds Barbara Krajnc who held the position since 2010.

Ms. Briscik is the Deputy Executive Director for the Modiana division at the Slovenian retailer Mercator, and is responsible for Marketing and Public Relations. She also served different functions in the company including Director of Corporate Communications from 2010 to 2014. Under her guidance, Mercator received the international European Business Award in the field of Social Responsibility in 2011.

With over 17 years of active work in Slovenian media, Ms. Briscik is widely known as a television journalist, radio personality and the last Editor of the Radio Voice of Ljubljana (RGL).
