Venezuelan association elects new president and Board

Members of the Venezuelan Association of Advertisers (ANDA) named Luis Mirabent, Vice President of Commercial Operations at Venezuelan supermarket chain Excelsior Gama, as their new president.

Luis Mirabent takes over from Ruben Salazar, General Manager for Consumer Health at Merck Group Venezuela. He is joined by Pedro Quintana, Brand Director at Farmatodo, and Juan Carlos Sarli, Brand Manager at Empresas Polar, as first and second Vice President.

In the coming months, the new Board plans to transform the 58th edition of the ANDA Awards, as well as strengthen the association's dialogue with media owners. The Board also seeks to provide ways for ANDA members to further their professional development, which has already been materialised through a series of courses currently being offered to members.
