On 12 October, the Norwegian Association of Advertisers (ANFO) held the 10th edition of its flagship event, the Great Day of Advertising (DSAD) in Oslo.
Regarded as one of the most important events for the Norwegian marketing community, DSAD gathered over 400 professionals from the brand, agency and media side for a day of knowledge exchange and networking.
The programme for this year's DSAD was built around the book "How Brands Grow: Part 2", co-written by acclaimed Australian researcher and professor Jenni Romaniuk, who was also one of this year's presenters. The book's prequel is one of the most popular marketing books in Norway.
DSAD's line-up of international speakers included "Mr Goodvertising" Thomas Kolster on how brands are doing advertising for good, Ed Rogers, co-founder of Been There Done That, on the three marketing "F-words" (faster, fresher and at a fraction of the cost) and Jacqueline Bourke, Creative Planning Manager at Getty Images, on visual storytelling.
