The French Advertisers Association (UDA) celebrated their centennial year this October with a new visual identity and positioning, as well as a day of meetings and workshops on the future of marketing.

Founded in 1916, UDA unveiled its centennial logo under the new slogan "Advertisers in Motion" on the eve of their centennial celebration on 6 October. A revamped website is currently on the works and will be live by the end of the year.

Aside from a new visual identity, the French association presented its new positioning to members, partners and friends who were in attendance.

Staying true to their three missions, UDA defines their new priorities in four areas:
  • Communications strategy (media and touchpoints, design, content, audiences, KPIs);
  • Relationship management and customer experience (CRM, in-store, social, purchasing);
  • Marketing foresight and digital transformation (change in consumer and market, studies, trends);
  • Legal and public affairs.

  • Aside from celebrating their centennial year, UDA re-elected Etienne Lecomte, EVP and CEO at Groupe Bel Western & Eastern Europe, as their President. He is joined by Loïc Armand, SVP External Affairs & Sustainable Development at L'Oreal and Jérôme François, Director of Consumer Communications & Marketing at Nestlé as Vice Presidents of the association.
