On March 18th, WFA is hosting a public event designed to explore the big changes that are needed in a post-COVID world. It will address how smart marketing can be a force for positive change, driving a more sustainable, equitable and safe future for the planet, society and the marketing industry.

Speakers include Patricia Corsi, Global Chief Marketing & Digital Officer, Bayer, Rupen Desai, Global CMO, Dole, Paul Kemp-Robertson, co-founder, Contagious, Stephen Kehoe, President and CEO, Asia-Pacific, Edelman, Arba Kokalari, Member of the European Parliament, and Helena Leurent, Director General, Consumers International.

“At WFA, we are convinced that better marketing can help drive action that aligns with and supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals, whether that be ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being, reducing inequalities or driving responsible consumption and production. This event is for anyone interested in how marketing can be a positive force for change,” said Will Gilroy, Director for Policy & Communications at WFA.

The March 18th event is part of a broader WFA initiative exploring how marketers are addressing the world’s sustainability challenge. The goal is to identify good practices that can be shared. WFA has teamed up with Project Everyone, the group behind the UN Sustainable Development Goals, to help marketers develop their sustainability journeys. WFA has also produced a short white paper to inspire companies and marketers to take action.
