Industry publication The Drum recently unveiled the 50 names included in this year’s Future 50, an annual list of up-and-coming marketing talent from different sectors and countries.

It is the first time WFA has partnered with The Drum to help identify the best client-side marketers from around the world under the age of 30 or have only worked in brand marketing for less than 18 months. The list recognises exceptional talent from sectors including airlines, beverages, beauty, fashion, finance, FMCG, online services and tech.

The final 50 marketers on the list were selected by The Drum’s researchers and editors from hundreds of reader nominations from across the industry. Global brands and national advertiser associations in the WFA network also nominated colleagues who they consider have done exceptional work against the backdrop of the pandemic and have helped marketing be a positive force for change.

WFA member nominations who have made the list include Emilie Berg Kaasin, Concept Developer in Marketing & Digital Sales at DNB in Norway, Ben-Jie Lim, Head of E-commerce at AirAsia, Krishma Sood, Marketing Manager at The Arnott’s Group in Australia, and Ioanna Kontorigopoulou, Brand Manager, Lion & Fitness Cereals at Nestlé/CPW Hellas in Greece.
