About WFA AI x Sustainable Marketing Community meeting: The AI Sustainability Paradox

WFA AI x Sustainable Marketing Community meeting: The AI Sustainability Paradox - About

AI presents brands with a complex sustainability paradox: while the technology offers significant potential for improving environmental outcomes and driving sustainable innovation, its own carbon footprint is substantial and growing as adoption accelerates.

As brands look to balance the negative and positive impacts of AI, this dedicated meeting will bring together members of the WFA AI and the WFA Sustainable Marketing Community to explore both the challenges and opportunities of AI in Sustainable Marketing.

  This meeting will feature:

  • New insights from WFA on how brands are using AI, perceptions on the environmental impact of AI use in Marketing and the role AI can play in driving efficiency, effectiveness and progress on overarching sustainability goals*
  • David Croft, Group Head of Sustainability (Reckitt) in conversation with WFA’s Michelle McEvoy on how Reckitt leverage AI to simultaneously drive business performance and sustainability objectives.
  • Anne Coghlan, Co-founder and COO (Scope3) on some of the practical ways that brands can measure the impact of GenAI and mitigate sustainability-related risks and impacts.

This meeting is of most value for members of WFA's AI Community and Sustainable Marketing Community, but all WFA members are welcome.

Meetings are held under Chatham House rule and are not recorded.
