Your Role:
You will be part of the dynamic Global Consumer & Market Insights (CMI) team of Lipton Teas & Infusions, reporting directly to the Global Head of CMI and will play a key role in our functional transformation journey to becoming a future facing, category & consumer led, insights driven organisation.
The role of the Global Consumer & Market Insights Manager is to be a strategic day-to-day partner to the Global Marketing teams for all brand and Value Creation Plans (VCP) related subjects.
Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- Own the multi-country learning plan for our Global Brands, planning and delivering it in partnership with external research agencies.
- Identify growth opportunities for our Global Brands, leveraging existing consumer and market understanding and, if and when necessary, lead the setup and execution of demand spaces, U&A or market structure studies.
- Lead Global Brands situation analysis including competitor analysis by leveraging syndicated sources of data, as well as ad-hoc research and existing category/country analyses.
- Generate multi-country behaviour changing insight & identify effective levers of consumer engagement in all areas of the consumer journey, applying Laws of Growth principles:
- Portfolio and architecture: own and competitor brand portfolio mapping, brand architecture and stretch, brand/product/pack/price architecture, understanding consumer groups.
- Innovation: Product innovation development research, product and pack design guidance.
- Brand equity understanding and building: communication, product/packaging, assortment, pricing, communication development.
- Shopper understanding: understanding of shopper journeys and missions in diverse retail environments.
- Communicate all learning and insights in a compelling way to drive action: ensure presentations and reports are clear and inspiring, using strorytelling techniques.
- Collaborate with other members of the Global CMI team as well as regional and market CMI colleagues, proactively sharing knowledge and seeking out and synthesizing existing learning.

Required Knowledge and Experiences:
- 10 to 15 years of experience in market research or relevant fields driving holistic brand growth through deep and broad consumer insights & foresights.
- Proficient in translating business questions into learning plans and research recommendations.
- Proven experience with traditional research methodologies, as well as agile approaches.
- Capable of using self-service tools (structuring, writing and setting up questionnaires in platforms. Analysis of results)
- Able to synthesize data from different sources into a well-structured story with clear implications.
- Working knowledge of Laws of growth principles (Mental, physical and portfolio availability) and its application in research methodologies.
- Multi-country experience in designing and executing research at cross-country level. Demonstrated ability to work across different countries and cultures (ideally, developed and developing markets).
- Track record of embedding insights in complex organizations
- Experience working at a strategic level, leveraging consumer and market knowledge to influence short- and long-term business decisions.
Required Skills:
- Breadth of knowledge of research methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative.
- Use of syndicated data sources to conduct competitive and market analysis.
- Digital and data savviness. Data analytics and data product understanding a plus.
