This position is responsible for the regional procurement sub-category of Content – PR, Social, and Influencer for Opella.
The key focus of this role is to support, influence, & implement procurement category strategy for the sub-category initiatives, ideate and drive key projects jointly with the business, drive execution regionally to ensure Opella delivers its priorities/objectives. The sub-categories of content development in PR, Social, and Influencer are rapidly changing and increasing the amount of content needs, type and differing applications, and business engagement at rapid speed. The use of AI in creating content is rapidly growing and needs to be manged for compliance and risk while utilizing its efficiencies and speed. The role requires demonstrating strong partnering internally with global content leads and externally with the marketing and sales suppliers.

Strategy
- Execution of competitive, innovative long term procurement sub-category strategies that are:
- based on market intelligence: assessing risks and opportunities.
- collaboratively built, full aligned with the business delivering cost reduction and significant value to business.
- Support the development of new market innovation opportunities (e.g. new suppliers, new digital tools in the categories).
- Translate marketing categories vision, strategy and projects in the region and execute to ensure delivery aligned with the targets.
Leadership
- Collaborate closely with global category leads, regional marketing leadership, and finance
- Local support and delivery of global category strategies
- Creation and delivery of local category strategy as needed
Contract & Relationship Management
- Regional supplier relationship management and negotiations
- Lead supplier business reviews for key local supplier partners
- Set local KPIs and monitor supplier performance. Continuously drive improvements in performance of the suppliers in all relevant areas of service level, costs, delivery, quality.
- Ensure compliance with master service agreements
- Escalate / manage issues that may impact the global Marketing and Sales procurement
- Ensure that risk management assessment and risk mitigation strategies are in place in close collaboration with the business
Business Collaboration & Partnering
- Business partner and support/guidance role to regional stakeholders
- Regional delivery against B-Corp commitments
- Facilitate and build collaborative Business Partnering across the Business Unit internally and across the supplier network for the category

A degree in business Finance, Procurement/ Business Operations, Marketing.
- A strong understanding of marketing/agencies
- Agile, curious, and flexible to the evolving business, needs
- Hands-on experience in delivering savings initiatives with demand management levers
- Strong capability to manage business and interact with internal stakeholders, Suppliers, and managing a complex environment
- Highly effective written and verbal communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
- The ability to hit the ground running, operate autonomously with a high level of drive and energy
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
