On 14 February, the 7stars and Bountiful Cow, UK's biggest independent media agency group, announced its plans to adopt the framework media services contract developed by the Incorporated Society of British Advertisers (ISBA), in light of increasing industry concerns on media transparency.
The Framework Agreement for Media Buying & Planning Services was launched in April 2016 to serve as guidelines for UK advertisers when dealing with their media agencies. The contract calls for greater transparency in client-agency relationships especially when it comes to digital media.
Phil Smith, ISBA's newly appointed Director-General, said: "In the light of P&G's recent announcement of contract reviews worldwide, calling for transparency and digital standards, this collaboration with the7stars is a hugely important first step in providing UK advertisers with the tools to help enable the clean and transparent media supply chain envisioned in Mark Pritchard's speech."
