The Association of Swedish Advertisers (SA) elected a new board and named Leif Börjesson, Marketing Director at Swedish brewery Spendrups Bryggeri, as chairman at the association’s annual meeting in May. He takes over from Mats Liedholm, SVP Marketing at local grocery retailer ICA, who held the post for four years.

New members of the board include: Lars Axelsson (Telia), Michael Grimborg (Synsam), Stina Liljekvist (Skandia), Ann Lindell Saeby (NCC), Frippe Stenberg (Scandic Hotels) and Lina Vicsai (AMF Fastigheter).

Commenting on what he will be focusing on during his term, Leif said: “Anders Ericson and his team have already been driving the most important issues for marketers, such as transparency in digital media buying. What’s most important for me is to really understand the issues our members feel the association should take a stand on. That's why we exist.”
