7 July is Advertiser’s Day in Argentina. To celebrate the occasion, the Argentinian Advertisers’ Association (CAA) gathered both marketing professionals and students for a night of inspiration at their annual #JornadasCAA "Successful Brand Strategies" event.

For the 13th edition, CAA have put the spotlight on four companies to share some insights and learnings from their successful brand strategies.



Orlando Canido, President of local beverage company Refres Now and Joaquin Jordán, Managing Partner of local agency Password, presented the success story of soft drinks brand Manaos. Joaquin cited how an advertising strategy based on three pillars - brand, content and product - helped the brand become one of the 25 most preferred consumer brands in Argentina.

Victoria Feü, Biscuits Innovation Manager LATAM at Mondelēz International, then talked about how good creativity has brought good business results for chewing gum brand Beldent.

Mariano Malvasio, Head of Marketing at Argentine TV sports channel TyC Sports and Mario Cingolani, Corporate Marketing Manager at travel booking website almundo.com, also shared how their brands evolved to keep up with the times and changing consumer habits.

In 2004, CAA instituted 7 July as the official day for advertisers in Argentina. The day also marks the signing of CAA’s charter in 1959.
