Steve Chester joins the Incorporated Society of British Advertisers (ISBA) as Director of Media. The appointment is part of the association’s commitment to strengthen its offering for digital advertisers. He takes over from Mark Finney.

Steve has a longstanding background in the digital space, having worked for Microsoft in various account management roles and IAB UK, where he was Director of Data and Industry Programmes. Before his appointment, he was working for ISBA as a consultant.

Commenting on Steve’s appointment, Phil Smith, Director General of ISBA, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Steve to the ISBA team. His digital credentials and industry experience make him uniquely qualified to lead in the rapidly changing media environment. A big thank you is also due to Mark Finney, who has made a real impact on ISBA. We wish him every success in the future.”

In July, Phil also appointed Abi Slater as Director of Communications. She has extensive experience in the media industry, having worked for UK newspaper Metro as Head of Marketing. Before ISBA, Abi was Communications Director at Daily Mail and General Trust.
