Over 200 professionals from the brand, agency, media and technology side gathered for the first conference in France dedicated to immersive media, organised in Paris by the Association of French Advertisers (UDA) and local tech consultancy Netineo.

UDA invited experts to talk about the challenges and opportunities for brands when using a variety of immersive media including 360°, virtual reality, augmented reality and mixed reality. The experts also provided attendees with tips on creating an effective strategy and operational roadmap around these media. Attendees were also able to test out immersive devices during the conference.
"Decrypting trends, encouraging brands to rely very early on their own experience curve to take advantage of immersive media and contribute to the growth of the French ad ecosystem is a priority for our association", said Jean-Luc Chetrit, UDA’s Director General.

Following the conference, UDA also plans on facilitating meetings between brands and technology service providers.
