Norwegian advertisers launch platform to improve client-agency partnerships
ANFO plans to establish simplified best practice for pitch processes

The Norwegian Association of Advertisers (ANFO) along with local consultancy firm MB Consulting has launched Elect, a new platform for advertisers and their partners to help ensure smoother and smarter processes when choosing and evaluating partners.
ANFO released their annual Big Advertiser Report, which identifies the selection of the right agency or partner as one of the biggest challenges Norwegian advertisers are facing. Pitches are resource-intensive for brands and agencies to collaborate and the industry has long talked about the need to structure the relationship better.
Through Elect, ANFO aims to contribute towards more efficient and more qualitative agency selection processes and evaluation of client-agency collaboration, and in the long term assist in the proper documentation of value creation for both parties.
The new initiative will benefit from a dedicated Elect board of industry experts from both the brand and the agency side, which is yet to be announced.
