The 31 best marketing campaigns for 2018 in Norway were honoured at this year’s ANFO Effekt awards in February.

Organised by the Norwegian Association of Advertisers (ANFO), the event gathered over 400 of Norway’s top industry professionals to celebrate the year’s most effective marketers and most outstanding marketing campaigns that have created value for business and brands.

Norwegian mobile payment application Vipps took home the Grand Prix and other awards. Espen Haugen and Anders Erikson of agency Kitchen (part of Publicis), were named recipients of the “Beekeeper” award for their outstanding work documenting effectiveness in advertising with their book “Effekt: 10 basic rules for creating advertising that work”. The special award is given to individuals or businesses that have significantly contributed to the development of ANFO Effekt and Norway’s ad industry.

Now in its seventh year, ANFO Effekt received a record number of 170 entries in five different categories. The awards show won a WFA President’s Award at Global Marketer Week 2018 for its database of nearly 800 marketing and advertising effectiveness case studies for use by brands around the world.
