ADVAN forms global jury and speaker-line up of marketing leaders for awards show

For this year’s edition, ADVAN enlisted marketing experts from the region and beyond to help determine the most outstanding marketing campaigns of 2019 and recognise the individuals and brands behind them. The international jury was led by Chris Van Roey, CEO of UBA Belgium.
During the awards night, marketing leaders from around the world shared how creativity and innovation can drive business growth. Keynote speakers included Raja Rajamannar, CMO of Mastercard and WFA President, Jean-Luc Chetrit, Director General of Union des marques (France) and Phil Smith, Director General of ISBA (UK).
Molfix Baby Diaper was named Brand of the Year for the second consecutive year and bagged the top award in the Experiential Marketing and CSR categories. Snacks brands MunchIT Nigeria won the inaugural Consumer’s Choice Award, where the public was asked to vote for their most loved brand. Other winning brands include Airtel Nigeria (Campaign of the Year), Coca-Cola Nigeria (Digital Marketing), Heineken (Product Packaging) and Orijin Nigeria (New Brand).
