China advertiser association organises international CMO Summit as part of China Brand Day

As part of China Brand Day 2020 on May 10, the China Association of National Advertisers (CANA) organised their 2nd International CMO Summit online on the theme ‘Developing Chinese Brands: Supporting Anti-Coronavirus Work and Future Brand Marketing’. It was broadcasted live via local news outlets and via webcast.
The conference was opened by video speeches from CANA President Yang Hanping and WFA CEO Stephan Loerke. Throughout the day, policy makers and marketers discussed topics such as trends in global supply chains, economic recovery after lockdown and the national strategy for brand development. Brands that presented included Alibaba, Tencent, China Telecom and Philips.
