ISBA together with Advertising Association and IPA announced the launch of ‘All In’ – a new campaign “to help build back a better, inclusive industry for all” in the UK – during their joint industry conference RESET 2021 on January 28. All In is initiated by the Inclusion Group formed by the three associations in April 2020.

As a first step, the group will launch the first industry-wide census on diversity in UK advertising’s workforce on March 10. The results will be used as a benchmark for progress and will inform the Inclusion Group’s action plan to increase inclusivity across the industry which will be revealed in the summer.

Kathryn Jacob, CEO of Pearl & Dean and Chair of the Inclusion Group, said: “We know there is a systemic problem to tackle in our industry, that of fully inclusive representation in our workforce. To make the most meaningful change, we must set a benchmark to measure and track progress against. This census is a vital starting point for everyone to help build an industry that truly represents the world we live in today. I encourage people to spread the word – March 10 is the day for all in our industry to come together and say ‘I’m In’.”

The March 10 survey is open to all advertising and marketing services professionals in the UK and will be conducted in collaboration with research experts, Kantar.
