National associations to meet in Helsinki and Bogotá

The National Associations Council at WFA's Global Marketer Week 2023 in Istanbul.

This year, the annual meeting of WFA’s National Associations Council (NAC), the global forum for heads and representatives of WFA's network of national associations in 60 countries, takes place in Helsinki on September 29, with dinner on September 28. Over 20 associations from around the world are expected to attend the meeting, hosted by Marketing Finland.

The NAC meeting will focus on three topics: driving organisational growth, improving marketing effectiveness in the industry and addressing opportunities and risks of generative AI for marketing. Scheduled speakers include representatives of ANFO (Norway), Marketing Finland, Sveriges Annonsörer (Sweden), Union des marques (France) and Contagious.

The annual Latin American Regional Reunion will come to Bogotá on 24 and 25 October, with a dinner scheduled for  23 October. This event, hosted by the Colombian Advertiser Association (ANDA Colombia), brings together national associations from across Latin America, alongside speakers from a global and regional companies including AB InBev, Coca-Cola, Diageo, Ferrero, Haleon, Kantar, KraftHeinz, L’Oréal and McDonald’s.

The meeting will focus on the future of marketing. It will look at regional trends through  sessions on: AI and creativity, marketing effectiveness, client-agency relations, media governance, influencer marketing, marketing sustainability,  ESG and advertising self-regulation.
