Diana Frost, The Kraft Heinz Company: Meet the 2024 Global Marketer of the Year Finalists
The five finalists for WFA’s 2024 Global Marketer of the Year award, celebrating the work of global marketing leaders from some of the world’s biggest companies, have been announced. Voting is now open until 20 January 2025 at https://www.globalmarketeroftheyear.com, with the winner announced later that month in partnership with The Drum.

Diana’s job title reflects the multiple roles that today’s senior marketers play. As Global Chief Growth Officer, she plays a pivotal role in new initiatives designed to drive bottom line results, including a successful joint venture with NotCo, a plant-based food tech company. The company has even used AI to accelerate development of plant-based versions of iconic Kraft Heinz products to drive results.
Growth has also come via the use of marketing’s superpower, creativity, with in-house agency The Kitchen looking to develop creative campaigns aligned with cultural trends. Her approach has developed a framework that allows the taking of risks and backs innovation and experimentation, helping the company win 21 Cannes Lions in 2023.
Campaigns such as "Heinz Ketchup Fraud" and "A.I. Ketchup" campaign have helped enhance Heinz's position as the definitive ketchup, especially among younger audiences.
Diana has also played a key role in boosting diversity and sustainability at the company, serving as the executive sponsor for the Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging Resource Group at Kraft Heinz Canada as well as helping steer the company's innovation and marketing towards sustainable growth.
She started her career at PepsiCo before moving to Mars Wrigley. She was named Chief Growth Officer for Kraft Heinz North America and now performs the role globally. Diana is the first Canadian finalist of WFA’s Global Marketer of the Year.
