The WFA Insight Forum held in New York City on December 4, 2024, brought together 20 WFA members to explore how Consumer and Market Insights (CMI) partnerships can drive greater business impact. The session emphasized the strategic importance of aligning Insights functions with organisational goals, fostering collaboration across teams, and leveraging external partnerships to amplify credibility and innovation. Key highlights included:

  1. Making partnerships sweeter - creating foundations for success: Insights teams can transition from transactional roles to confident thought leaders by fostering collaboration, clear frameworks, and innovation pilots.
  2. Effective partnerships to make you an Insights legend: Strong partnerships elevate the insights function to a trusted, indispensable strategic advisor through proactive value delivery and alignment with organisational priorities.
  3. Be a bridge, not a crutch: From complexity to actionable business insights: Insights professionals can empower stakeholders by framing insights with purpose, fostering transparency, and enabling independent activation.
  4. Silent discussion: Vision, Focus, and Impact: Participants identified actions to enhance CMI’s strategic influence, position it as a trusted partner, and integrate insights seamlessly into decisions.
  5. Workshop: Driving integration and impact, by collaborating within and beyond the organisation: The session explored strategies for improving collaboration internally and leveraging external partnerships to reinforce insights’ credibility and business value.

The forum underscored the role of the CMI function as a driver of growth and organisational success through proactive alignment, actionable insights, and strategic partnerships.
