As we enter a new decade, WFA wants to help brand owners rise to the many challenges they face and continue to deliver value and growth to their businesses.

To this end, we conducted research to understand the current and future challenges today’s marketers face, what can be done to bridge any skill gaps that exist, and what else CMOs need to be conscious of to succeed into the 2020s.

In partnership with national organisation members and independent, global market research agency 2CV, WFA surveyed 700 leading marketers from over 30 countries. 

On May 20, we unveiled the findings during a live discussion featuring Diageo's Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer, Syl Saller, and the Chief Marketing Officer of General Mills, Ivan Pollard.

On June 18, we looked at the Asia Pacific results with a lens on China. Joining this session were Pratik Thakar, IMC Director, The Coca-Cola Company, and Spencer Lee, CEO Big Loyalty, AirAsia.
