Slovak association appoints new Chairman

Ivan Pruzinec has been named the new Chairman of the Slovak Association for Branded Products (SZZV). He succeeds Jozefa Polievku, President of Kraft Foods Slovakia, who led the association's activities for six years.

Pruzinec is the Commercial Director for Central Europe at Procter & Gamble. He has been with P&G since 1997, working in various positions and the company's offices in Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland and the UK.

"The existence of SZZV makes perfect sense, especially at a time when FMCGs are pressured to demonstrate the added value of their brands and products and how they bring real benefits to consumers and society," said the newly-elected Chairman.

Aside from a new Chairman, SZZV appointed Robert Kicina, Corporate Affairs Manager at Nestlé Slovakia, as their new Vice President.
