The
Moroccan Advertisers Association (GAM) is set to launch the
Brand's Engagement for a Better Environment (BEBE) initiative on the eve of the
COP22 to be held in Marrakech from 7-18 November 2016.
This initiative will bring together brands and marketers in Morocco to help raise awareness and preserve the environment. It will be composed of three pillars: the Environmental Charter for Brands in Morocco, the BEBE Awards and the BEBE Survey.
Mounir Jazouli, President of GAM, on the initiative:
"Brands and marketers have an impact on the environment through their daily activities and marketing and communications operations. With this initiative, they can play an important role in raising awareness and preserving the environment. While many brands are already engaged in this sense, a more collective approach will allow us to strengthen and institutionalise our actions and provide us with greater firepower."
