WFA President Raja Rajamannar and WFA CEO Stephan Loerke have been named among the world’s top 100 digital leaders by marketing magazine The Drum. ‘The Drum Digerati 2019’ shines a spotlight on 100 individuals shaping the digital industry today.
Raja Rajamannar, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Mastercard and WFA President since March 2019 was praised for his work on integrating the five senses into the Mastercard customer experience, while the WFA CEO was recognised for ‘fast emerging as one of the most important voices in the debate about cleaning up the digital advertising ecosystem’.
Commenting on the recognition, Stephan Loerke said:
‘I don’t consider myself a digital guru but I’m hugely proud of the way the WFA team is helping our members navigate the challenges of an ever-increasingly complex digital environment. Cross-industry initiatives like the Global Alliance for Responsible Media, which is being led by WFA, and the cross-media measurement work truly have the potential to transform the way brands interact with consumers online and rebuild trust that has declined in recent years.’
The 100 Digerati were selected from a list of professionals nominated by the public for having had a major contribution to the industry in the last year. The international editorial team carefully considered the merits of each nominee – weighting their work, their influence and their impact – before curating the final 100. The full list is being disclosed starting today and throughout the whole week at thedrum.com.
