Grab - Grabbing fresh produce to protect farmers' livelihoods

Lockdown left many consumers sceptical about the safety of shopping in physical stores and forcing open public markets to close has starved local farmers of funds. To support farmers and provide on-demand, reasonably priced groceries to consumers, delivery service Grab has partnered with the Department of Agriculture (DA) to bolster their eKadiwa online marketplace. The DA will buy farmers’ produce at equitable prices while Grab will provide their on-demand delivery service.
