P&G and PepsiCo join other brands in raising money for African American communities hit hardest by COVID

Procter & Gamble’s Old Spice and PepsiCo the latest brands working with BET to raise money for African American communities disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 crisis. An ad created for the campaign features comedian Deon Cole breaking down the disparity in infection rates between predominantly white and black communities.
Among the brands supporting BET are Facebook, Unilever, Toyota, Salesforce, McDonald’s, BNY Mellon, Amex, AARP, Clorox Co.’s Pine-Sol, Morgan Stanley, TJX, WW, NBA, RLJ Companies, Restaurant Brands International’s Popeyes and Chicago Trading Company. As of 22nd April, the conglomerate raised over $16 million for the charity.
