WFA Media Board

The Media Board is an industry-focused, action-oriented group of client-side media leaders seeking to help brands tackle some of the thorny issues within the global media ecosystem. The Board also seeks to act as a steering group for WFA’s wider media activities.

Key initiatives

The Media Board has been instrumental in the development of WFA’s Global Media Charter, a framework created by global advertisers to help define what a fair, effective, and responsible media ecosystem could look like (first issues in 2008, updated in 2018 ad more recently in 2023). The Board has been supporting the creation of industry programmes designed to help address the issues outlined in the Charter. These programmes include:
