About the job

As a Global Media Insights Manager at FrieslandCampina, you’ll be part of one of the world’s largest dairy companies, playing a pivotal role within the Global Commercial Excellence team. This dynamic team is steering FrieslandCampina toward future success through data-driven transformation and strategic insights.

Reporting to the Global Analytics & Insights Director, you will collaborate closely with the Global Media team to translate data into impactful media insights for business growth. Your responsibilities will span across various media insight activities, including analysis, reporting, dashboard maintenance, and supporting data-driven decision-making. You will contribute to media strategy and provide ongoing updates on key performance indicators (KPIs).

Additionally, you’ll contribute to the growth of our global analytics and insights community by refining methodologies, sharing best practices, and fostering a culture of learning across countries. This role offers significant autonomy, influence, and the opportunity to make a real impact!

What We Ask

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or higher).
  • At least 6 years of experience in A&P, media measurement and/or media ROI optimization, insights, data analytics, and/or campaign evaluation, ideally within a multicultural, international FMCG or media agency environment.
  • Strong proficiency in media performance evaluation across brands, categories, and channels, with a focus on optimization strategies.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and storytelling.
  • Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
  • Familiarity with PowerBI, Tableau, and programming languages (R, Python, SQL) is a plus.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a proven ability to get things done.
  • Dynamic, persuasive, and open to learning new things.
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple brands and categories to generate actionable insights.
  • Strong team player, capable of working with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into compelling stories.
  • Fluent in English.

  • Salary between €5,024 and €6,819 per month, depending on knowledge and experience (full-time);
  • Full-time workweek of 38 hours, 4% year-end bonus, 12% performance bonus, and a market-standard pension;

Vacancy Description

As the Global Media Insights Manager, you will analyze media effectiveness to identify opportunities for optimizing media investments. Collaborating closely with the Global Media team and Business Groups, you will leverage data analytics to enhance A&P spending efficiency and provide insights that shape high-level decision-making. You will also lead Marketing Mix Modeling projects to improve media ROI across various brands.

In this role, you will proactively evaluate media performance to uncover areas for improvement and propose actionable strategies. You will synthesize data across brands, categories, and channels to create a comprehensive picture. Additionally, you will lead initiatives that turn insights into measurable business results and work to enhance media analysis methods and processes, ensuring alignment with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
